The Boiling Lake hike in Dominica is one of the island’s most iconic and challenging adventures. It is Located within Morne Trois Pitons National Park, this trek takes you through lush rainforest. This trail includes: cross steep ridges, and into the Valley of Desolation. The journey culminates at Boiling Lake, the grey-blue water heated by volcanic activity beneath the surface. It takes an estimated time of 6–8 hours round trip to complete this beautiful trail. MY Experience as a Hiker: I often describe it as both a physically demanding and spiritually rewarding, offering a raw connection to Dominica’s volcanic heart. It’s a MUST -DO for adventure seekers visiting the “Nature Island,” . I would advised that a certified guide accompany you for safety and deeper insight into the terrain.
